Zefix helps you find Swiss businesses and prefill a Didyma client with public commercial-register information. There is no Zefix connection for users to configure in Didyma.

Search while creating a client

  1. Open Clients and select Create Client.
  2. Enter at least three characters of the company name.
  3. Review the active-company results and select the correct legal entity.
  4. Confirm the details before selecting Create.

Didyma uses a prefix search and returns up to 20 active companies. If the company is not listed, continue with manual entry and verify the spelling or register status separately.

Information Didyma can prefill

The available Zefix record can populate the company name and business classification, legal entity type, billing street, city, postcode, canton, and country. Didyma can also suggest the reporting language from the available registry data.

The linked record retains registry identifiers and supporting details such as the UID, EHRAID, legal seat, registered capital and currency, company purpose, status, SOGC publications, branches, auditors, earlier names, and registry links when Zefix provides them.

Not every company has every field. Treat prefilled information as a starting point and check it against the engagement records.

Important date caveat

When Didyma displays an Incorporation Date derived from Zefix, the value is based on the oldest available SOGC publication. It is labelled internally as coming from the oldest SOGC publication and may not be the company’s authoritative legal incorporation date.

Verify the incorporation date against an authoritative extract or the client’s records before relying on it for accounting, tax, or legal work.

On Client Info, editing the company name can start another Zefix search. Selecting a result links the registry record and updates the available business information.

Use the expanded Zefix information and Refresh action to retrieve newer registry data. Refresh updates registry fields and available legal, date, and address information, but it does not silently rename the Didyma client. Review changed information after every refresh.
